Introducing Gap Coverage

Effective January 1, 2008, the Blue MedicareRx Plus plan will provide benefits through the gap. For a copayment of $5 for each generic prescription drug, you can get some relief from the "donut hole," which currently requires you to pay 100% of your drug costs.

If you are currently enrolled in the Plus plan, you will automatically receive this benefit beginning January 1. If you are not enrolled in the Plus plan and want to learn more about new benefits, or switch from your current plan to the Plus plan, please call Customer Service. The numbers can be found at the bottom of this page.

Annual Enrollment is Here

As you know, November 15 - December 31 of each year is the annual enrollment period (AEP). During this time, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) allows Medicare beneficiaries to enroll for the first time or switch their current prescription drug plans. Review this section and other sections of this website to learn more about the 2008 Blue MedicareRx plans.
