Blue MedicareRx (PDP) offers you three convenient ways to fill your prescriptions

1. Network Pharmacies

• Blue MedicareRx (PDP) offers coverage at more than 2,281^† network pharmacies in Illinois.
• Blue MedicareRx (PDP) offers coverage at more than 59,700^† pharmacies nationwide including major retail chains so you’re covered while you travel.
• At a preferred network pharmacy, you may purchase a 90-day supply of eligible generic or brand prescription drugs and pay only two and a half months of copays instead of three. Network pharmacies that are not preferred do not offer lower copays for a 90-day supply.

Blue MedicareRx (PDP) has formed a network of pharmacies that you must use to receive plan benefits.

2. Preferred Network Pharmacies 

• There are approximately 1,670^† preferred network pharmacies in Illinois.
• Preferred network pharmacies include CVS, Target, Walgreens, Walmart and their affiliates, plus many more.
• To find a list of preferred network pharmacies nearby, use our Pharmacy Locator* and click Preferred Extended Supply.

Non-preferred network pharmacies do not offer lower copays for a 90-day supply, but are still considered Blue Medicare Rx (PDP) network pharmacies.

3. Mail-Order Program

As a Blue MedicareRx (PDP) member, you can participate in our convenient Mail-Order Program for Medicare Part D coverage. With this money-saving program you can:

• Have a 90-day supply delivered right to your door.
• Save yourself a trip to the pharmacy (and the time and money you’d spend on gas too).
• Save on copays.
• Place your order online or by phone.

Out-of-Network Coverage

Covered drugs are available at out-of-network pharmacies in special circumstances (illness while traveling outside the plan’s service area where there is no network pharmacy, for example).
