If you get drug benefits from your Medicare Advantage plan, you cannot enroll in Blue MedicareRx. You cannot have a Medicare Advantage plan and a prescription drug plan at the same time.

You are a member of a Private Fee-for-Service MA Plan (PFFS) that does not provide drug coverage, in which case you can enroll in Blue MedicareRx.

I have drug coverage from my employer
|
You may be able to enroll in Blue MedicareRx if your current or former employer helps pay for your prescription drugs. If your current plan meets or exceeds Medicare Prescription Drug Plan standard benefits, you can keep your current plan and not have any penalty if you enroll in Blue MedicareRx later. Contact your group administrator for more information.

I have Medicaid or coverage from a state pharmacy assistance program
|
You can enroll in Blue MedicareRx now, check with your State Medicaid Office, the local Social Security Office or Medicare at 1-800-633-4227 (TTY call 1-877-486-2048), 24 hours a day/7 days a week, to see if you qualify for help paying the monthly premium and lower copayments, or
If you do nothing, you may be randomly assigned to a Medicare Approved Prescription Drug Plan, instead of picking the one that you want.
