Mail-Order Pharmacy
You can use the  Blue MedicareRx mail-order service* to fill prescriptions for any drug that is identified as a mail-order drug on the formulary list.

Preferred Pharmacies
Blue MedicareRx makes it even easier to save on your medications when you visit a preferred network pharmacy. Visit Target, Safeway, Wal-Mart, Albertson's, or Kroger pharmacies and their affiliates. At a preferred network pharmacy, you'll save on copayments when you fill a 90-day supply. Pay just two copayments instead of three! View complete list of preferred pharmacies (PDF) in your area.

Out-of-network coverage
Blue MedicareRx has formed a network of pharmacies. You must use a network pharmacy to receive plan benefits. However, covered drugs are available at out-of-network pharmacies in special circumstances. We cannot pay for any prescriptions that are filled by pharmacies outside the United States, even for a medical emergency. Find a pharmacy* in your neighborhood.

Blue MedicareRx has contracts with pharmacies that equal or exceed CMS requirements for pharmacy access in your area.

60–Day Change Notice POLICY
The Blue MedicareRx formulary is updated on a monthly basis. Once enrolled you can call the Customer Service number on the back of your Member ID card to obtain any additional information on any changes to the Blue MedicareRx drug list. If one of your medications is removed from the list, you will be notified at least 60 days before it is removed from the drug list. We will also update this information, along with any drugs added to the formulary, on this web site. (If the FDA deems a drug on the list is unsafe or the drug's manufacturer removes the drug from the market, we will immediately eliminate it from our list.)
