HCSC Insurance Services Company (HISC) is pleased to offer Blue Medicare Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS). This new plan is currently available to local and national employer groups headquartered in Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Blue Medicare PFFS is a private fee-for-service Medicare Advantage plan. This means Medicare-eligible retirees who join a group plan have the freedom to choose any licensed doctor or hospital that participates in Medicare and is willing to accept the plan’s terms, conditions and payment rates. They can see specialists without referral and travel without losing coverage within the U.S.

A fully insured plan, Blue Medicare PFFS provides national coverage for your Medicare-eligible beneficiaries in all 50 states, regardless of location, and expands the geographic scope of the Blue Medicare product offerings. To be enrolled as a retiree in the Blue Medicare PFFS plan, individuals must meet all of the criteria required to receive Medicare. Other criteria may also qualify a person as a retiree.

Blue Medicare PFFS plans offer the potential to lower your organization’s health plan costs and save you money over time while maintaining retiree satisfaction.

Each Blue Medicare PFFS benefit plan can be paired with a Part D prescription drug plan, available in Standard,  Enhanced and Enhanced Plus benefit levels. And, plans can be customized to also offer a wide variety of additional benefits, such as eyeglass and hearing aid reimbursement, and more.
