Upon receipt of your enrollment, we will send you an acknowledgment letter within seven business days. This letter identifies your effective date as well as important identification numbers. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that runs the Medicare program, must approve all enrollments. When CMS approves your enrollment into Blue MedicareRx, you will receive a confirmation letter from us. You should not wait to get this confirmation letter before you begin using Blue MedicareRx network pharmacies on your effective date. Simply provide your pharmacist with your identification numbers listed at the top of your acknowledgement letter. If CMS rejects your enrollment, Blue MedicareRx will advise you within seven business days and bill you for any prescriptions you received through us.
