Mail-Order Pharmacy
You can use the Blue MedicareRx mail order service* to fill prescriptions for any drug that is marked as a mail-order drug on the formulary list.
You are not required to use mail order prescription drug services to obtain an extended supply of maintenance medications. Some retail pharmacies may agree to accept the mail order copayment for an extended supply of medications, which may result in no out-of-pocket payment difference to you.

Preferred Pharmacies
Blue MedicareRx makes it even easier to save on your medications when you visit a preferred network pharmacy. Visit Wal-Mart, Albertson's, or Kroger pharmacies and their affiliates. You'll save on copayments when you fill a 90-day supply. Pay just two copayments instead of three! View complete list of preferred pharmacies (PDF) in your area.
Out-of-network coverage
Blue MedicareRx has formed a network of pharmacies. You must use a network pharmacy to receive plan benefits. However, covered drugs are available at out-of-network pharmacies in special circumstances including illness while traveling outside the plan's service area where there is no network pharmacy. 60 Day Change Notice POLICY
The Blue MedicareRx drug list is current as of this publication. The information is updated on a monthly basis. Once enrolled, you can call the Customer Services number on your Member ID card to obtain additional information on any changes to the Blue MedicareRx drug list. If a medication is removed from the list, you will be notified at least 60 days before it is removed from the drug list. We will also update this information, along with any drugs added to the formulary, on this website. (If the FDA deems a drug on the list is unsafe or the drug's manufacturer removes the drug from the market, we will immediately eliminate it from our list.)
